PRESS NOTE  RATIONALE FOR REDUCTION OF TOPICS IN CLASSES IX TO XII It has come to notice of the Board through a section of media reports that the B oard's notific a tion issued on 07 . 07.2020 regarding reduction/rationa l ization of syllabus from classes 9th to 12th has been i nterpreted differently . Contrary to some of the i mpressions be i ng created i t is clarified that:-   1.   The rationalization of syllabus up to 30% has been undertaken by the Board for nearly 190 s u b jects o f class IX to X I I  for the academic session 2020-21 as a one­ t i me meas u r e o n l y.
